I can not thank LMAS enough! The employees are truly heaven sent. We adopted our puppy Kylo from animal house and we were so impressed with how clean and nice Animal House is. I was interested in fostering and Stephanie, Kristen and everyone else set me up with absolutely EVERYTHING I needed to foster two puppies that came into the shelter. It was such a great experience and my dog did so well with taking them under his wing. Once they got adopted we fostered another dog that we ended up adopting from them! The process is so quick and easy. Everyone is so kind and welcoming. I appreciate the hard work they do for our community.

I had to bring in a beautiful dog I found on Broadway. The take in process went pretty smooth on checking in the little girl. It was clean, and the people were friendly. Staff answered my questions and were informative.

I adopted the most wonderful, amazing sweet girl named Clarabelle. She is helping me so much to mend my broken heart after losing another precious pet. Clarabelle is adjusting to her forever home so well & we love her. My vet said she was gonna call her "Jackpot Clarabelle" for being adopted into our home. 😂 …

They refused to answer the phone. So I went in there to see about adopting a dog we saw on their website as adoptable. When I got there 5 staff or volunteers were all standing next to the phones talking and laughing. They didn't even acknowledge me. I spoke up and said I was interested in adopting. I was still ignored. So I left. No wonder the shelter is overflowing.

They seemed to really care about the animals in their care . It had a check in like a hospital. I would recommend you don't think you are supposed to dump off the animal without filling out paperwork to help find them a home.

These are the most caring people taking care of our most disadvantaged, discarded animals. The people I’ve seen them have to deal with- wow!! I love fostering, doing field trips and donating here- keep up the good work! Pics of our gorgeous fosters….

Tried bringin in a lost dog. They made me fill out paperwork and takenthe dog home. Been weeks. I have to let the dog go roam the streets because this place won't answer and I keep doing nothing but leaving unreturned voicemails and emails. Now I know why I see so many stray dogs roaming the streets. Get better workers that answer phones and try to help. Cause the ones now are terrible.

Super knowledgeable, welcoming and just a great experience any time we’ve dealt with them in regards to vet care for our pup and our two cats. Officer Goodman was super caring and the whole staff was just attentive, nice, and caring. I wish they offered more services but considering what they are, they do go above and beyond to ensure all of your pets needs are met!

If you are doing anything other than adopting or licensing (surrender/tnr/etc) be prepared to be here for 2+ hours. This is a vital community resource and they’re understaffed so please be kind to the folks answering phone and at the counters.
